Steven M. Harvey, Chairman and Executive Director, formed the American Steam Railroad Preservation Association in April 2005. He brings over a decade of tourist railroad and passenger experience to the industry, having worked with a multitude of different operations.
Mr. Harvey also brings years of business management, finance, technology and investment management to the railroad industry. He has worked with multiple Fortune 500 companies during his financial services and technology career.
Mr. Harvey has also worked in the family farming business while earning a Associates of Computer Science and Bachelor of Business Management from DeVry University. Additionally, Steven M. Harvey is pursuing his Masters of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Business in Columbus, OH. |

Michael J. Connor, President and Chief Operating Officer, is a veteran railroad officer particularly familiar with the formation, operation, and marketing of short-line and regional railroads. After earning a BS in BA-Transportation at John Carroll University (University Heights, OH) he has been a driving force in the formation and successful operation of several short-line and regional railroad systems.
Besides a thorough grounding in freight railroading he is familiar with the organization, operation, and marketing of passenger excursion and dinner train railroading. Recently retired as Vice-President Operation & Maintenance of the LA&L-WNY&P-B&H railroad system in Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania, he is currently a principle with Excelsior Transportation Management LLC. |

| Gregg Manes |

Gregg Manes was appointed General Counsel in June 2006. Mr. Manes was previously an associate at Manes, Musitanio, Schrader and Assaf in Akron, OH where he practiced in the small business law and corporate litigation. He is now the senior member of Gregg Manes Company LPA.
Mr. Manes earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management from Ohio University and his juris doctorate degree from the University of Akron College of Law. |

| Rob Gardner |

Rob Gardner joined the company as Chief Engineer in an advisory role in April 2007. He has worked in the railroad industry for the past 13 years serving in various capacities in both the railroad and construction sectors of the industry. He currently is a project manager for a major North American rail contractor. Previously he has held similar positions with Acme Construction and Wheeling Technologies. He has also served as VP of Engineering for the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway Company.
Mr. Gardner has a B.S. in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Class of 1995, where he started his railroad career as a co-op employee laboring for Delta Railroad Construction on various track construction projects. |

Chief Mechanical Officer |

William B. Goslin, Chief Mechanical Officer, is a veteran railroader of both steam and diesel operations. In April 2005 he joined the American Steam Railroad Preservation Association in an advisory role. Mr. Goslin’s education came from working under retired and former Chesapeake & Ohio steam engineers, firemen, and mechanical officers. He brings over 30 years of railroading experience in passenger operation, locomotive rebuilds, and crew training.
In addition to his technical work with steam and diesel railroading he is familiar with the organization, operation, marketing of passenger excursions and dinner train railroading. Mr. Goslin has spearheaded rebuilds of many steam locomotives in his career and is still involved as an engineer with a freight railroad company. |
